by | Apr 23, 2020 | GMO, Regenerative Farming, Video

In 2002, a European initiative began to advocate for the purity of seeds and prevent contamination by GMOs. Save our Seeds (1) emerged from that effort and has produced this short video featuring expert voices in the field of genetic engineering warning about the untoward effects of this technology.  Dr. Kevin Esvelt, Junior Professor and Gene Drive developer at the MIT Media Lab, Harvard College, discusses how CRISPR gene drive systems can create permanent ecological damage with researchers having access to edit species unchecked.
